Full job description

Are you a Community OT with 6+ years' experience?

Earn £50–£80/hour writing medico-legal reports remotely, alongside your current clinical role. No previous expert witness experience needed. Full training and mentorship provided from day one.

  • Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Currently working with clients who have sustained life changing injuries: brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, complex orthopaedics, polytrauma, cerebral palsy or birth injury
  • Currently recommending, implementing and reviewing long-term care packages in the community
  • Able to commit 6–8 hours a week alongside your existing clinical role
  • Right to work in the UK

What the role involves

You'll assess clients who have suffered life changing injuries and produce medico-legal reports for personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Each case involves one local visit to assess future care and equipment needs; all report writing happens remotely, on your own schedule.

Why OTs choose to work with us

  • No financial restrictions on your recommendations. Recommend what someone actually needs, with no budget-driven compromises.
  • Genuinely flexible. You set your hours around your clinical and family commitments, not the other way around.
  • 40+ years of industry standing. J Webb care experts are known and respected by the UK's leading law firms.
  • Full support from day one. Fully funded training, a dedicated one-to-one mentor, and ongoing office and IT support.

Who we are

Jacqueline Webb & Co. is one of the UK's longest-established medico-legal consultancies, working for over 40 years with the country's leading law firms on personal injury and clinical negligence cases. We work with a small, carefully selected team of OT expert witnesses, and we're growing that team.
