This role requires a minimum of 6 years' post-qual OT experience and a current caseload involving complex physical injuries (brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations or major trauma). If that describes you, the financial and professional case for this role is strong.

The income opportunity
Care Expert work with J Webb pays £50–£80 per hour for independent assessment and report writing - carried out from home, around your existing shifts and commitments. We pay fortnightly without exception, book work months in advance so you can plan your income, and match your workload to the hours you say you have available. As your experience grows, so does your rate.

What you will be doing

  • Carrying out one in-person home assessment per case (approximately every 4–6 weeks at a typical workload)
  • Assessing long-term care, equipment, housing and transport needs - with no budget restrictions
  • Writing a detailed care report used in personal injury or clinical negligence proceedings
  • Managing your own time, with full support from our office and expert team

Why experienced OTs choose J Webb

  • Clinical freedom. Recommend exactly what your client needs. No funding constraints, no waiting lists.
  • Training included. Full training and 1-to-1 mentoring provided. No prior medico-legal experience required.

  • Current caseload involving complex physical injuries - spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputations, polytrauma, orthopaedic trauma or cerebral palsy
  • Active experience recommending and reviewing long-term care packages
