Job Title: Business Development Representative (Construction Tech SaaS)
Salary: £35,000 Basic + £20,000 OTE
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days in office, Deansgate)

Construction SaaS | PE-Backed | Strategic Outbound | Direct Mentorship | International Travel

Looking to kick-start your SaaS sales career in a high-growth industry? Join a globally scaling construction tech business where you’ll be trusted from day one, trained by experienced sales leaders, and part of a team solving real problems in one of the world’s most traditional sectors.

Company:

This platform is revolutionising safety and compliance in construction. Founded by someone who saw the day-to-day pain of paper-based systems, it’s now used on 15,000+ projects by 400+ leading companies, consolidating everything from health and safety to quality and environment into one central hub.
The business has secured over $70M in private equity backing, is rapidly expanding across global markets, and has a strong UK presence based in a modern Deansgate office.
You’ll be joining a small but proven sales team where collaboration is key, creativity is encouraged, and your development is taken seriously.

Opportunity:

We’re hiring one BDR to join the UK team, currently made up of a Head of Sales, 1 AE, and 1 BDR.

You’ll be focused on outbound pipeline creation, targeting construction companies ranging from £20M to £2B in revenue. The role includes on-site exposure to better understand the product and plenty of face time with leadership for ongoing development.

You’ll be supported with a solid tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo) and encouraged to try bold, tailored outbound strategies that actually cut through.

Your Role:
  • Prospect into mid-market and enterprise construction businesses across the UK and Europe
  • Use a multi-channel outbound approach — phone, email, campaigns — with support from the team
  • Adapt your outreach to a wide variety of buyer personas: site managers, IT leaders, project directors, MDs
  • Spend time on-site to fully understand what you’re selling
  • Join group sessions, team call blitzes, and receive 1:1 coaching
What You Bring:
  • Hunger and resilience — you’re not afraid of the phone or rejection
  • Clear communication and sharp critical thinking
  • A curious, self-starting mindset — you figure things out and ask great questions
  • Strong discipline and follow-through
  • Bonus points for competitive sports, travel, or any passion project that shows ambition
What’s in it for You:
  • Competitive Salary: £35k base + £20k OTE (uncapped)
  • Learning & Development: Dedicated personal training budget and revamped L&D programme
  • Exposure: International team meetups (Chicago, Australia), UK/EU travel opportunities
  • Flexibility: 3 days in the Deansgate office
  • Culture: monthly socials, virtual events, and a genuinely collaborative vibe
Work Environment:

You’ll be joining a high-impact SaaS business backed by major investors, solving one of the biggest pain points in a global industry. The team is social, ambitious, and supportive and the leadership is invested in your success.
If you're motivated, coachable, and ready to make waves in tech sales, this one’s for you.
