The Wilson Street Pantry is brunch restaurant in Merchant City.

Serving brunch 7 days a week since 2015.

Quality coffee and food.

Job description

The Wilson Street Pantry is a brunch restaurant located in Merchant City, Glasgow.

This is a day time role.

A full time position would be 4 days over 7.

We are looking to hire positive and motivated individual who has a solid work ethic, good nature and an interest in all things brunch.

Experience in speciality coffee is a plus but definitely not a must, as we will provide plenty of training.

Ideally the candidate would have Front Of House experience and would be comfortable assisting the Foh team with their responsibilities.

Responsibilities - Front of House

Greeting and serving all customers and patrons in a courteous and professional manner.

Take orders and deliver them to patrons in a timely manner.

Know your products; this could be daily specials, knowledge of allergens in dishes and beverages, products available for sale, etc.

Proving clear communication to management, baristas and the kitchen.

Clearing and cleaning tables in a timely manner.

Ensure orders are accurate to charge customers correctly and take payments.

Responsibilities - Barista

Serve well-made drinks.

Daily setup and breakdown of the coffee bar.

Consistently maintain a clean work area during slow and busy periods.

Managing service standards and ensuring consistently excellent customer service is delivered.

Help maintain all coffee & tea equipment throughout the café

Assist both the Foh and Kitchen teams during service.

Maintaining a high level of service at all times.

Requirements

Passion for brunch and experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Previous experience within the hospitality industry essential.

Previous experience working with coffee essential.

Independent person that needs little direction while still being a big team player.

Great interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong collaborator and communicator.

Flexibility & availability to work weekends is a must.
