Stone processing workshop, working with both natural stone and engineered stone. All aspects of work will be undertaken from design & manufacture to installation.

Job description

We are looking to take on a trainee stone mason, there will be many different skills to learn from product design/milling/grinding/handling/polishing/sales and installation. If you are keen to learn new skills and enjoy job satisfaction whilst tackling the fabrication challenges, this could be the right vocation for you. full PPE and training will be given/provided.

If you have a history of a bad back this may not be the vocation for you, all staff are expected to be able fulfil multiple job roles.

If you can bring wood working/metal working skills to the workshop you may be able to earn more.

Overtime and weekend work available if you would like to earn extra .

Full-time employment with holiday pay and pension. Minimum wage for your age group will be the intiatial starting point for trainees.

There would initially be a trial period of 6 months before full employment contract will be given.

Must be able to drive to our Workshop which is in a rural area of Shifnal.

Experienced masons can get pretty good rates of pay and get jobs all over the world working with incredible machines and materials, so this Is a really good opportunity to get into the industry, learning and gaining transferable skills.
