Experienced Metal Polisher – Precision Components

We are seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join our team working on high-precision engineered components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polishing precision parts to a high cosmetic and dimensional standard.

This role would particularly suit someone with previous experience as a Tool & Die Polisher or in a similar precision engineering environment.

Welding experience would be advantageous however the main focus is polishing and finishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Polishing and finishing precision metal components to exacting standards
  • Working with a variety of metals and surface finishes
  • Using polishing equipment, hand tools, and finishing compounds
  • Inspecting parts for surface quality, defects, and finish consistency
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in metal polishing of precision-engineered parts
  • Background in toolmaking, tool & die polishing, aerospace, firearms, mould tools, or similar industries advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, motivated, and quality-focused approach
