Head Bartender – East London
£15.00 – £16.00 per hour + 12.5% service charge

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and driven Head Bartender to take full ownership of our bar at our East London restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on responsibility and enjoys running a bar independently while being part of a wider team.

You’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the bar, delivering exceptional service and helping to create a memorable guest experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running the bar solo during service, taking full responsibility for operations
• Leading bar operations, including opening and closing procedures (key holder responsibility)
• Creating and developing seasonal cocktail specials
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, including beer line cleaning
• Managing stock control and stock takes
• Supporting the FOH team by running food during busy periods
• Building strong rapport with guests, especially those seated at the bar
• Upholding service standards and ensuring a smooth, efficient service at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a key holder in a bar or restaurant
• Proven ability to run a bar independently and confidently manage solo service
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining beer lines
• Strong cocktail knowledge with a creative flair
• Confident, personable, and comfortable engaging with customers
• Experience with stock taking and inventory management
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Fluent (or strong) English communication skills
