Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Sous Chef to uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence at a prestigious private property in Knightsbridge for a VIP Middle East family. This role requires a passionate culinary professional with Michelin Star experience, dedicated to delivering exceptional food and service in an exclusive, sophisticated environment. As Sous Chef, you will be instrumental in maintaining the property’s reputation for outstanding cuisine, overseeing kitchen operations, and inspiring a talented team to achieve culinary perfection. Your leadership will ensure seamless food production, safety, and presentation that exceeds expectations at every turn.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise all kitchen activities, ensuring adherence to Michelin Star standards of quality and presentation
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish served
  • Manage food safety protocols rigorously, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs while maintaining the highest quality ingredients
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills in food production, culinary techniques, and hospitality service
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently for serving in a private setting that demands precision and finesse

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience within high-end restaurants or private dining establishments, preferably with Michelin recognition
  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
  • Experience working within luxury hospitality environments or private properties is highly desirable
