MJ Church Ltd are a Civil Engineering and Earthworks contractor operating across England. We undertake projects ranging from £100,000 to £60,000,000 in value for both public and private sector clients across a wide range of sectors.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor to join the team supervising teams of plant operatives on our scheme located off A34 Winchester.

This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

Immediate start - 6 months + duration

Required:

NVQ level 3 SSSTS Gold card or SMSTS: Please note you MUST have the physical card

EUSR 1 & 2 essential

Safety critical medical essential

Plant tickets advantageous but not essential

Clean driving licence

Own transport

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations of the production facility, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently.
• Supervise teams of plant operatives.
• Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with site manager to optimise workflows and resolve any operational issues.

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisor role within this environment is essential.
• Strong skills in managing teams, with an emphasis on supervising staff effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Familiar with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
