You could contribute to projects spanning requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment and the seamless coordination of delivery across distributed systems and enterprise platforms.

What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Gathering and translating business requirements into clear user stories and backlog items
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning and refinement sessions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and validate delivery outcomes
  • Supporting the coordination of delivery across technical and business teams
  • Creating and maintaining BPMN and UML documentation to capture process flows and system design
  • Liaising between technical teams (working with APIs, microservices, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP) and business stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Contributing to backlog refinement and supporting product teams in prioritisation
  • Communicating progress, risks and dependencies to key stakeholders

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Proven experience in business analysis, particularly within agile or fast-paced delivery environments
  • Strong capability in requirements gathering and stakeholder management
  • Hands-on experience facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting delivery coordination
  • Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria and maintain product backlogs
  • Familiarity with process modelling (BPMN, UML) and technical documentation
  • Understanding of modern technology stacks, including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or related field
  • Based in or willing to work from Manchester, Leeds, Bristol or across the UK on a nationwide basis

Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

  • Opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technology stacks and modern cloud architectures
  • Collaboration with diverse teams across technology, engineering and business functions
  • Scope to develop expertise in agile methodologies and enterprise-scale delivery
  • Potential for career progression into senior business analysis, product management or delivery leadership roles
  • Flexible working arrangements supporting hybrid and remote delivery models
  • Competitive day rates of £250–280 per day or £350–380 per day, dependent on experience and seniority
