Full job description

About Us

Peak Wildlife Park is a wildlife conservation centre located in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are dedicated to conservation, education, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors.

As one of the region's leading family attractions, our busiest periods are during school holidays, weekends, and seasonal events. We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Seasonal Guest Services Assistants to join our team and help deliver an exceptional visitor experience throughout our peak season.

The Role

This is a full-time seasonal position working across both Guest Services and Catering. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on variety, and are happy working both indoors and outdoors.

As a Seasonal Guest Services Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the park. One day you may be welcoming visitors at admissions, helping direct parking, or supporting an event, while another day you could be serving food and drinks in our catering outlets. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential.

Many of our permanent team members started in seasonal roles, and opportunities for ongoing employment may be available for outstanding candidates following the end of the season.

Full training will be provided.

  • Welcoming visitors and assisting with enquiries
  • Supporting admissions, ticket sales, and entry operations
  • Helping manage visitor flow and car parking during busy periods

  • Assisting with stock replenishment and basic food preparation
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Supporting retail operations and merchandise sales
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of public areas across the park
  • Supporting seasonal events, activities, and experiences
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the park
  • Working flexibly across guest services, retail, and catering operations as required by the business
  • Acting as an ambassador for Peak Wildlife Park and its conservation work

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with visitors
  • Happy working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working as part of a team

  • Ability to commute reliably to Peak Wildlife Park

Desirable

  • Food hygiene qualification (training can be provided)
  • Interest in wildlife, conservation, or visitor attractions
  • Full UK driving licence

No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.

Hours & Availability
