Permanent, Full Time

40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based in our office at Westminster.

About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the day-to-day financial control, reporting and commercial performance management of a Planned Works contract mainly, with the overall contract being a Repairs and Voids Contract.

Within the role, you will assist the lead Quantity Surveyor with cash management, including timely application / certification / invoicing / payment and careful administration of subcontract accounts.

About You

We’re looking for candidates with previous experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the Social Housing sector. You’ll have a solid understanding of Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) contracts and be confident in carrying out key commercial activities, including paying subcontractors and invoicing clients. Experience or knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) projects is highly desirable.

You will be commercially aware, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working collaboratively with operational and financial teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 4 qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)

Desirable:

CSCS Card – White or working towards
