Morley Hayes are seeking a Driving Range & Cafe Supervisor.

This popular Driving Range and Cafe requires a customer focused person with supervisory experience in the hospitality industry. Experience within the golf industry would be a benefit to the role also.

The successful candidate will have have the ability to maximise sales, organise and direct the team, control ordering as well as ensure that all food and hygiene requirements are met.

Excellent customer service is vital to this position as well as to have a good level of computer literacy to manage the booking system, tills and ordering of stock.

The shift pattern will include weekdays, evenings and weekends on a flexible rota basis

The candidate will be responsible for

Serving customers of the Tower Course, Driving Range and Tower Café, writing rotas, ordering stock as well as ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety processes are met.

Own transport preferable due to work location. Uniform provided, meals whilst on duty , free golf and company discount after qualifying period

Set in 300 acres of beautiful Derbyshire countryside, mid-way between Derby and Nottingham there is no doubt Morley Hayes is a stunning location yet very convenient to many people

With a 32 bedroom 4 star hotel, conference facilities, a two star rosette restaurant, a very busy bar restaurant and a popular spike bar. We are an 18 hole championship golf course and a 9 hole Tower course. Membership is available on both courses however a “pay and play” system is the main revenue. The golf driving range has recently been extended and trackman technology installed as well as a new Tower Café opened with high quality retail area. A third party “East Midlands Golf Academy” operate the teaching at the range employing 6 coaching professionals. The Hotel, grounds and facilities are varied and distinctive, so our team need to be the same. We look for individuals who are flexible team players who can use their own initiative, adapting to any situation, ensuring every guest who walks through our front doors has the best possible experience.
