Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

Location: 1 Nirro Business Park, Ongar Road, Ongar CM5 - In Person

Hours: 45 hours per week | Mon-Fri 08:30am - 05:30pm | Saturdays 08:30am - 02:00pm

Salary: £34,000.00 - £48,000.00 per year

Role Summary

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy workshop team. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing the end-to-end service experience. This role requires a strong work ethic, basic mechanical knowledge, and proven upselling skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Relations: Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person; provide regular vehicle progress updates.
  • Workshop Coordination: Book in vehicles, arrange collection/delivery, and allocate workloads efficiently to Workshop Technicians.
  • Revenue & Up-selling: Assess customer needs, recommend appropriate vehicle maintenance services, and gain authorization for extra work.
  • Internal Liaison: Communicate across departments, working closely with the vehicle sales team and technicians to maintain high service standards.
