Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service advisor to join our team in the maritime industry. This role offers the opportunity to interact with customers, provide technical support, and contribute to sales and aftersales service in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries via email and phone, addressing concerns and providing accurate information.
  • Utilise a range of systems to provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and guiding them through solutions effectively.
  • Assist in sales processes, including order placement, product inquiries, and upselling opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive after sales service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise post-purchase.
  • Follow established business processes and utilise company-mandated systems and records accurately to maintain consistency and efficiency in customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and provide clear instructions and support to customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, to manage customer enquiries and tasks effectively.
  • Experience in customer service or support roles, preferably in the maritime industry, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using various computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office and software applications.
  • Keen intellect, with a rapid capacity for absorbing new information
  • Proactively assumes ownership and demonstrates resourcefulness in problem-solving
  • A collaborative spirit, someone who will integrate seamlessly within remote team environments

This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home. As part of our remote team, we expect candidates to show self-discipline, effective communication, and proactive engagement with colleagues. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional weekend availability required to accommodate business needs.

We are not offering relocation packages.
