This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison to build trusted relationships with leading healthcare professionals and thought leaders, deliver high-quality scientific exchange, and generate insights that shape medical strategy. Working across hepatology, gastroenterology and metabolic medicine, you will represent the organisation at scientific meetings and collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on improving patient outcomes.
This is a full-time, permanent position, with field-based work across the North West, Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Make a Real Impact - Contribute to life-changing medicines that directly improve patient lives.
Collaborative Culture - Thrive in a supportive, people-focused environment.
Ideal Requirements for the Medical Science Liaison
- Experienced field medical professional with 3+ years in an MSL role - Bringing proven success in engaging healthcare professionals and translating scientific knowledge into meaningful external impact.
- Advanced scientific or clinical qualification (MSc, PharmD, PhD) - With a strong foundation in life sciences and the ability to interpret and communicate complex medical and scientific information with confidence.
- Strong background in hepatology, gastroenterology, metabolic disease or specialist medicines - Ideally with hands-on experience supporting innovative medicine launches in fast-evolving therapeutic areas.
- Skilled scientific communicator and relationship builder - Able to present, influence, and engage credibly with leading healthcare professionals and stakeholders across diverse settings.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and field-focused mindset - Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment, proactively taking ownership while thriving in collaborative, cross-functional teams and external scientific engagements.
Role Responsibilities for the Medical Science Liaison
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading healthcare experts and researchers, becoming a trusted scientific partner within the hepatology community and helping to shape the future of patient care.
- Lead high-value scientific discussions with specialists across multiple disciplines, sharing the latest clinical evidence and contributing to the advancement of disease understanding and treatment approaches.
- Represent the organisation at major national and international congresses and scientific meetings, expanding your network and staying at the forefront of developments within your therapy area.
- Generate strategic insights from interactions with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, helping to influence medical strategy and support evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.
