Overview
We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Musgrave Marketplace Duncrue 1 - 15 Dargan Crescent, Duncrue Road, Belfast BT3 9HJ, United Kingdom.

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our distribution operations, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and dispatched efficiently. Various Shift patterns available including

  • Mon-Fri 7am - 3:30pm (one day start 30minutes earlier or finish 30minutes later) or a night shift: Monday- Thursday 7pm-4.30am with a shorter day Friday 5pm-9pm.
  • Hourly pay rate from £12.71
  • Performance bonus applicable
  • Overtime available

Job description:

  • Provide an effective, efficient, and flexible service to all suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike.
  • through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse, including: - order scheduling and assembly, replenishment, picking, stock enquiries, and checking.
  • Ensure accurate checking (manual process) and other associated procedures relating to goods received and goods dispatched.
  • Promote a positive company image through your accuracy, knowledge, and attitude to the job.
  • Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of all paperwork.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing loads are dealt with efficiently and comply to safety and legal requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored under the appropriate conditions.
  • Ensure that all waste, losses, and damage are kept to a minimum.
  • Ambient, chill & freezer environment
  • Voice picking system

What we're looking for:

  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player with experience in working to deadlines.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and organise the shift duties.
  • High level of productivity
  • Good all-round general housekeeping is essential.
  • Must have good numeracy and literacy skills this is essential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Valid forklift license or experience operating forklift equipment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
