Warehouse Opportunities with Musgrave, Belfast.

New to the industry or looking for a change? Start your career with us at Musgrave. We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at our Belfast Depots in BT3 or BT12.

Role overview:

• Full-time, permanent roles

Various shift patterns available:

• PM Day shift, 12pm-11pm Monday to Wednesday; 12:15pm-11pm on Thursday, No Weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday off!), 4- day working week,
• PM Day shift, Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm- No Weekends (Saturday & Sunday off!),5-day working week
• PM Day shift, 5 days between Sunday-Friday 1pm-9pm; (Saturday & a week day off!)
• Night shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am (Friday and Saturday off!)

The Role:

• Responsible for all warehouse duties including Order picking from paper or voice pick format from a pick face to palletised or cages consignment, operating MHE, loading, housekeeping and stock control as required.
• Actively participate with all Health & Safety, Quality and HACCP requirements relating to the warehouse.
• Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed.
• Full utilization of all technology aids that may be provided.
• Responsible for closing out of Performance Indicators.
• Ensure that all goods are stored under the appropriate conditions.
• Ensure that all waste, losses, and damage are kept to a minimum.
• Ambient, chill & freezer environment
• You will work as part of the Depot team to meet operational/budget targets and standards where customer satisfaction is essential.

Desirable criteria:

• Previous warehouse picking and Manual Handling training experience advantageous.
• Forklift truck License (counterbalance & Reach) and PPT would be advantageous, although full training would become available.
• Must be flexible and adaptable.
• Customer focused and driven.
• Maintain good level of punctuality at all times adhering to working time directive.
• Willingness to co-operate with others to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
• A good working standard in numeracy, literacy and warehouse equipment/systems.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
