About Skiddle

Skiddle is an independent ticketing and event discovery platform, helping people find and book experiences across the UK and beyond. From clubs, gigs and festivals to comedy, food events and family days out, we connect event organisers with audiences.

About the role

Youll support the day-to-day delivery of Skiddles marketing activity and work closely with colleagues across the business. Youll help promote events, reach new audiences and turn interest into ticket sales.

This is a hands-on role for someone keen to develop their marketing skills, contribute ideas and get involved in a varied mix of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns for events, partnerships and Skiddle initiatives
  • Write engaging copy for social media, emails, website content and promotional materials
  • Assist with email campaigns, including preparing content, checking links and reviewing results
  • Research events, trends and audience interests across music, festivals, comedy, theatre, food and drink, family activities and experiences
  • Keep campaign calendars, content plans and marketing assets organised and up to date
  • Work with design, video and editorial colleagues to coordinate briefs and deliver content on time
  • Support partnerships and promotional activity with venues, event organisers and content creators
  • Help monitor campaign performance, track engagement and ticket sales, and identify opportunities to improve results
  • Assist with marketing administration, including presentations, meeting notes and campaign reporting
  • Attend events and support content capture or promotional activity when required

About you

  • Youre interested in marketing, live events and helping people discover things to do.
  • You write clearly and confidently, with good spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
  • You understand the main social media platforms and enjoy keeping up with content trends.
  • Youre organised, reliable and able to manage several tasks and deadlines.
  • Youre comfortable working with numbers and learning how to measure campaign performance.
  • You bring ideas, ask questions and take ownership of your work.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and communicating with different people.

Experience through employment, an internship, study or your own projects would be helpful, particularly in:

  • Marketing campaigns from idea to execution.
  • Social media content creation.
  • Canva, CapCut or similar creative tools.
  • Email marketing platforms and website content systems.
  • Marketing reporting, spreadsheets or analytics.
  • A marketing degree isnt essential. Were interested in your potential, enthusiasm and examples of what you can do.

What can Skiddle offer:

We have a friendly informal and lively culture, where everyone is trusted to take ownership of their own workload.
