Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Warehouse AV Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing AV equipment for projects, checking equipment back into stock, conducting testing and maintenance, and performing other typical warehouse duties. There is a possibility for the role to evolve into an on-site engineer position, providing support during live events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare AV equipment for various projects and events.
  • Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and meets project specifications.
  • Assist with the logistics of loading and unloading equipment for events.

Stock Management:

  • Check equipment back into stock after events, ensuring it is correctly accounted for and stored.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits.

Testing and Maintenance:

  • Perform routine testing and maintenance of AV equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Identify and report any faults or issues with equipment, arranging for repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Keep detailed maintenance logs and reports.

General Warehouse Duties:

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
  • Assist with the organisation and tidiness of the warehouse, including the proper storage of equipment.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Assist with other general warehouse tasks such as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an AV technician role or similar, preferably within the live event production industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, including audio, video, and lighting systems.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and travel to event sites as required.
  • Full UK driving license is mandatory.
