Full job description
Teacher of Music
Salary: £31,343 to £46,114 FTE per annum
Actual salary: £12,537.20 to £18,445.60 per annum, 2 days per week (0.4 FTE)
Fixed Term Contract
Start date: January 2025 until 31 August 2025
We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and motivated Teacher of Music to join us on a fixed term basis to teach across the range up to A Level. We are looking for an individual who will be able to contribute to the academic life of the department to ensure that our students reach their full potential. There is a possibility that this role will be reviewed and made permanent in the future.
The School offers GCSE Music (Eduqas) and Music A Level (Eduqas). You will be teaching music from Year 7 through to Year 12.
The successful applicant will have a background in Music and a genuine passion for the subject and ideally experience of teaching Music in a school. We have a strong and dedicated staff body and excellent facilities, and you would be joining a warm and friendly working environment. You will be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life at the School.
