Full job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic guitar and ukulele teacher to deliver small group lessons in a primary school in the Trafford area. As well as delivering instrumental lessons there's also the opportunity to deliver classroom curriculum music lessons, to classes of up to 30 children. The school will provide a syllabus to follow but any further knowledge that can be brought to these lessons would be welcome. There will be the potential for a broadening of the instrumental tuition on offer.
- Hourly Rate: £25-£33
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging guitar and ukulele lessons to students of primary school age.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Organise and participate in school music events and performances.
- Potentail opportunity to deliver classroom music lessons.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the music program.
- Provide feedback to students regarding progress and areas for improvement.
The school has a strong appreciation for music and offers a supportive teaching environment.
The successful candidate must have experience of working with children and the ability to deliver energetic fun lessons is essential.
