Job Title: Music Teacher (Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Maldon, Essex
Contract Type: Fixed Term (Until Christmas)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Maldon on a fixed-term contract until Christmas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator to deliver engaging and creative music lessons, inspiring students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
•Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum
•Inspire students to develop their musical abilities and foster a love for music
•Prepare students for assessments and provide constructive feedback
•Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment
•Participate in extracurricular activities such as school concerts and music events
Requirements:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
•Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting
•Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students of all abilities
•Excellent communication and classroom management skills
•A passion for music education and student development
