Help Us Build the Sound

Ministry of Christ is building and expanding its Worship Collective, and we are looking for a gifted Keyboardist / Keys Player to become part of the core musical team helping shape its sound from the beginning.

Our vision goes beyond providing music for Sunday services.

We are developing a worship collective with a vision for original worship music, songwriting, live worship, recordings, digital releases, worship events, conferences, creative collaborations and, as the ministry develops, national and international ministry opportunities.

We are looking for someone who doesn't simply want somewhere to play, but would be excited about building something.

What You'll Be Part Of

As a core member of the Worship Collective, you will have opportunities to:

- Play keys for live worship and selected church services

- Help shape the musical sound and identity of the collective

- Develop arrangements and creative transitions

- Work closely with vocalists, musicians and the Music Leader

- Participate in songwriting and original-music projects

- Contribute to future live and studio recording projects

- Participate in worship nights, conferences and special events

- Collaborate with other Christian musicians and creatives

- Contribute ideas as the music ministry develops

- Grow into wider musical leadership according to gifting, experience and commitment

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a keyboardist who:

- Can confidently play keys in a live setting

- Has a strong musical ear and understands contemporary worship and/or gospel music

- Can work creatively with vocalists and other musicians

- Is comfortable developing arrangements rather than simply playing from a fixed score

- Values musical excellence while understanding the heart of worship

- Is collaborative, reliable and committed

- Wants to use their musical gift for Kingdom purpose

Previous church experience is welcome but not essential. Experienced musicians from other musical backgrounds who share the Christian faith and vision are also encouraged to apply.
