There is an exciting opportunity to join the Inpatient Service at Cheadle Royal Hospital as a qualified Music or Art Therapist.
The successful applicant will provide individual, and on occasion group, therapy to young people on our low secure adolescent ward. The post holder will also provide some 1:1 therapy to patients from across other wards and service lines on a sessional basis, and referrals will be made from ward MDTs when they feel this therapeutic approach may be in the best interests of a particular patient.
Applicants much be must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Strong empathic communication skills are essential. Some direct clinical experience working with young people and/or in mental health settings is desirable.
