Love discovering new music? Want to help artists grow while earning commission? Decent Music PR is expanding and we’re hiring for Freelance A&R's! We’re looking for self-motivated, organised, music obsessed individuals with sales experience and a hunger to learn music marketing and artist promotion.
About Decent Music PR

At Decent Music PR, we provide marketing and promotional solutions designed to help emerging and established artists grow and thrive. We work closely with artists to understand their goals, develop tailored strategies, and deliver campaigns that support their long-term growth.

We're looking for people who are passionate about music and artist development and who aren't afraid to push themselves beyond their comfort zone. This role is ideal for someone who loves discovering new music, has a background in sales, and wants to develop experience within music marketing and artist development.

What You’ll Do

  • ​Discover and identify emerging artists and new music
  • ​Support artists in identifying realistic growth opportunities and next steps
  • ​Work directly with artists to understand their goals and help shape development and promotional strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • ​Previous experience in sales, KPI's/Targets, music, A&R, or artist development preferred
  • ​Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
  • ​Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • ​Passion for music and discovering new talent
  • ​Interest in music strategy, marketing and artist growth

Payment Structure:

This is a commission based position with the opportunity to work toward a salary.

  • ​Commission: 20% on successful outbound sales

Requirement

  • ​Minimum commitment is 3 to 4 days per week
  • ​Access to a reliable internet connection and laptop/computer

Pay: £150.00-£36,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Sales: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
  • Music Industry: 2 years (preferred)
  • CRM software: 1 year (preferred)
