Woodview School are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our Teaching team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

Set in its own private grounds, Aspris Woodview School will provide holistic support to children and young people aged 7 to 19 years with autism. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of establishing the school, to support our young people once the school opens.
The curriculum design will enable students to follow a broadly mainstream curriculum to accredited qualifications, preparing them for adulthood and the world of work. The school will aim to provide 10 places on opening in September 2024, rising to 96 places at full maturity.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
