Music jobs in Swanage

We are seeking a dedicated Music Tutor to join our team and provide educational creative support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be passionate about helping students succeed.

Duties

-Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions

-Develop individualised learning plans based on students' individual needs
- Assist students in understanding subject-specific content
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress
- Utilise various teaching methods to engage students
- Support students with special education needs

Requirements

• Experience working within alternative provision setting (this is not compulsory)
• Experience working with children
• Experience working with SEND - a high number of young people here have Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties
• Comfortable working in an environment around other coaches and other young people
• Proficiency in tutoring and educating students
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
• An interest in Art and creative pathways is preferred
• Guitar, Dj-ing, music production, keyboard, singing, rapping are desired

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £30.00-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
