Job Vacancy: Piano Teachers at Hobley Music School
Location: Winnington
Positions Available: Full-Time and Part-Time
Are you a passionate pianist who loves to ignite the spark of music in others? Hobley Music School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated piano teachers to join our vibrant team. These roles are perfect for young professionals, such as students on a gap year, those currently studying, or existing piano tutors looking for a steady, reliable position. We're searching for enthusiastic individuals to inspire and guide students of all ages through their musical journey. Our music school is renowned for its fun and engaging lessons, fostering a genuine love for music while achieving remarkable learning outcomes.
About the Role:
- Employment Type: Part-time (not freelance or contractors)
- Work Hours: 1 evening plus 2 schools during the day
- Location: Winnington, and multiple primary schools in the vicinity.
- Transportation: Applicants must be able to drive and own a car, or have a reliable means of transport to travel between the studio and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver captivating and imaginative piano lessons tailored to the unique needs and learning preferences, for students of all ages.
- Lesson planning and adapting lessons to suit individual student needs
- Incorporating learning-based games into lessons to ensure an enjoyable and productive learning experience.
- Participating in student concerts
- Opportunities to collaborate closely with fellow teachers to exchange ideas and contribute to our lively and supportive team atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 6 in piano
- Reliable transportation (driving preferred)
- Customer service-focused with excellent communication skills, coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work well in a team with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and friendly work environment.
- Confidence in instructing students across different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Fun and professional approach to teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience (bonus but not essential)
- Additional musical proficiency or specialised knowledge.
