Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll be an integral member of the commercial team led by Managing QS and reporting to Senior QS whilst building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
You'll assist with application for payment preparation and provide backup to client of works completed for maintain cashflow.
We'll need you to assess works carried out by our subcontractors and manage change through the Early Warning and variation process with both the client and subcontractor.
You'll communicate with operations and site visits to ensure understanding of works being carried out.

What you’ll bring

  • Have you gained or are you working towards BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification?
  • Do you have good organisational skills and effective communication?
  • Due to the nature of the role some construction/commercial experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Are you someone with a can do attitude who can represent our values?
  • Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
