Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast items with precision and flair, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to create appealing and innovative breakfast options
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Manage meal preparation times effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours
  • Support the team in serving guests by ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh dishes
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food storage practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to breakfast foods such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and breakfast meats
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
  • Previous restaurant experience of 4+years is essential
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support breakfast service
