Full job description

Remuneration: £25.00 per hour. Please note that this opportunity is for a self-employed individual, engaged on a contract for services basis.

The College is looking to appoint an experienced Netball Coach who will be responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality netball sessions for the college’s team. The role aims to develop students’ technical ability, tactical understanding, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport, while positively representing the college during competitive fixtures.

The successful candidate will support student-athletes in balancing their sporting and academic commitments. They will maintain high standards of behaviour, discipline, and professionalism, communicate effectively with the Sports department, and assist with the organisation of fixtures, transport, and equipment where required.

The postholder will work 5 hours per week from 12:30-4.00pm on Wednesdays and 10.15-11.45am on Fridays.

Loreto Sixth Form College was awarded a second consecutive ‘outstanding’ rating by Ofsted in the December 2022 inspection. Ofsted noted ‘students’ behaviour is exemplary’ and that ‘students who study at Loreto do exceptionally well.’ Ofsted also noted that ‘leaders place a very high priority on staff mental health and wellbeing including workload. For example, staff can access counselling services, chaplaincy support, and the employee assistance programme.’
