Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various farm operations, including crop cultivation, animal care, and equipment maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical farm experience within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to sustainable farming practices while developing their skills in agricultural work.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including power tools and mechanical devices
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation
  • Manage animal care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring of livestock
  • Support the overall maintenance of the farm environment to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or knowledge of tractor and machinary, animal care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
  • Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools are advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in farm operations
  • Physical fitness to handle outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work as part of a team
