OMA + AGORA opened last year in the heart of London’s thriving Borough Market. Two restaurants in one building, where OMA is inspired by the fishing villages and shores of the Greek isles and further Levant, and AGORA is inspired by the energy of Athens’s markets and streets. About the role.
We are looking for an experienced restaurant manager to join the OMA team.
The ideal candidate will have a natural warmth for people and feed off the adrenalin of a busy service. Working alongside a well-established management team, you’ll support the front of house team in ensuring we are delivering that same passion to all our guests through support and training.
You’ll be a role model for all staff and spearheading what it means to run a dynamic London restaurant. You’ll be a critical thinker who is always questioning if we’re doing things the best way possible and constantly looking for ways to drive the business forward.
Responsibilities.
- Lunch and dinner service
- Oversee staff training and employee development.
- Daily rota management and cash up.
- Regular stock take of linen and other routine restaurant material.
- Recruitment and new employee journey management.
- Routine maintenance management of the site.
- Restaurant set-up operations
- Be a bastion of our brand and lead by example.
- Ensure that guest experience is at a consistently high standard.
Requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- A love for hospitality, food, wine and drink.
- Basic grasp of Microsoft 360 and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with software systems including Lightspeed, SevenRooms, WorkForce desirable but not essential.
