Within the Olympia destination, Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, a welcoming lobby lounge and three meeting rooms, with direct connectivity to Pillar Hall and the International Convention Centre. As a new opening, the hotel presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and be part of the opening of a landmark new hotel.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Door Host role

• Deliver a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to all guests, creating a memorable first impression from arrival.
• Assist guests with arrival and departure, including opening doors, guiding them to reception, and supporting with luggage where required.
• Act as an ambassador for the hotel and Olympia destination, confidently providing information about hotel services, events, and local attractions.
• Manage the flow of guests at the entrance, ensuring a smooth and organised arrival experience at all times.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, ensuring a personalised and attentive service.
• Maintain a strong presence at the hotel entrance, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

About You

• Previous experience as a Door Host or in a guest-facing role within a premium hospitality environment is preferred.
• A natural host with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in engaging with a diverse range of guests.
• Professional, well-presented, and approachable with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong awareness of guest experience, with the ability to anticipate needs and respond efficiently.
• Knowledge of the local area is advantageous, with a genuine passion for hospitality.
