Job Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Full-Time Supervisor to join our team at The Willow Tearooms on Princes Street, Edinburgh. With stunning views of Edinburgh Castle, we offer breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & more in a beautiful and busy setting right in the heart of the city.

We are open 9am-5pm daily so this role is perfect for someone looking to get away from late nights.

Hourly rate top range is inculsive of Tronc.

As Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Opening and closing the restaurant
  • Supporting and training new team members
  • Maintaining high standards of service as set by our General Manager
  • Ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience as it is a customer focus role

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in refine service as well as in a fast pace restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
  • Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively
  • Previous restaurant experience with knowledge of food safety practices and food production processes
  • Familiarity with hospitality operations, including serving and barista duties is a plus
  • Experience in kitchen or hotel environments is advantageous
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and uphold high service standards
