The Venue

The Role

As a Floor Supervisor at The Addison, you'll be responsible for leading service delivery across the restaurant, bar and live entertainment spaces, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience. As part of the opening leadership team, you'll support, coach and inspire front-of-house colleagues while maintaining the high standards of service, atmosphere and attention to detail that define The Addison.

This is a casual opportunity, offering shifts based on business needs, events and operational requirements.

The Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house teams during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistently high service standards.

  • Act as a visible presence on the floor, building guest relationships, handling escalated concerns professionally, and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.

  • Coordinate service across restaurant, bar, and event spaces, working closely with kitchen and management teams to deliver seamless operations.

  • Coach, train, and develop team members, providing on-the-spot guidance and leading by example to foster a positive and high-performing culture.

  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, health & safety, licensing compliance, and operational excellence throughout the venue.

What we're looking for

  • Previous supervisory experience within restaurants, premium hospitality, hotels, members' clubs, cocktail bars, or lifestyle-led venues.

  • A passionate hospitality professional with a natural ability to lead teams and create memorable guest experiences.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage guests, motivate colleagues, and manage challenging situations effectively.

  • The ability to remain calm, organised, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • A genuine enthusiasm for food, drink, live entertainment, and hospitality, with a desire to contribute to the success of a new venue launch.
