Leisure Supervisor

35 Hours per Week | £13.00 per Hour (Increasing Following Successful Probation)

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading a team and looking for a role where you can develop new skills?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Leisure Supervisor for our Playbarn and outdoor activities, to join our family-run farm attraction. Our site offers far more than just indoor play, with a popular farm shop, restaurants and cafés, seasonal events, animal experiences and outdoor attractions, welcoming thousands of visitors throughout the year.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing business where no two days are the same. As well as supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy Playbarn and leisure activities, you'll also have the opportunity to develop experience in marketing and promoting our leisure attractions, events and visitor experiences. No previous marketing experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.

The Role

As a Leisure Supervisor, you'll support the daily operation of our busy indoor play facility and outdoor activities, working closely with the management and supervisory team to maintain exceptional standards of customer service, safety and cleanliness while helping to lead and develop the team.

Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Pattern:

  • Monday
  • Wednesday
  • Friday
  • Sunday

Flexibility is essential. Working days may occasionally change to meet business needs during school holidays, peak trading periods, special events and seasonal attractions. Wherever possible, reasonable notice will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Leisure department.
  • Supervise, motivate and support the team.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist with staff training and coaching.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally both face to face and online.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Support stock control and administration.
  • Use IT systems confidently.
  • Assist with marketing activities, promotions and social media where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider attraction.

About You

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organisational and IT skills.
  • An interest in marketing and social media.
  • Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic.
  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Willing to be first aid trained and assist with any first aid as required.
