APPLICANTS LIVING WITHIN THE LOCAL AREA PREFERRED

We are a Desi gastro pub in Hagley and are looking for friendly and reliable individuals to join our front-of-house team.

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Experienced Bar Staff (minimum 2+ years bar experience required)
  • Floor Staff & Table Runners (experience required)

Our venue combines the atmosphere of a traditional pub with bold Indian cuisine and a vibrant drinks menu. We’re looking for team members who enjoy working with people and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently
  • Prepare drinks and pour quality pints
  • Take food and drink orders accurately
  • Run food from the kitchen to tables efficiently
  • Clear and reset tables promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the restaurant and bar
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately
  • Work closely with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams
  • Deliver excellent service during busy periods
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations

Skills & Experience

  • Bar staff must have at least 2 years of bar experience
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Team player with willingness to learn
  • Interest in Indian cuisine or Desi food is a plus
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
