As an Assistant Manager of Wendy’s,you will:

• Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager,you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant
• Focus specifically on staffing,training,and scheduling,all of which will help build and retain a 5-star team
• Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development
• Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is the right place at the right time
• Be the face of the restaurant to new hires,and crew members’
• This one’s a no-brainer:you’re key to increasing store sales and profit goals.
• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the business,both Front of House and Back of House
• Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant in your local area
• Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Help in building a passionate,engaged team that provide a great guest experience and can support with future new site opening

What you bring to the table:

• Experience leading people,even better if you did it in a food service environment.
• 1 year of line operations experience; with demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of management experience
• Flexibility to work 44-hour work weeks – must be available all-day parts and days of the week.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage and supervise Supervisors,Shift Leaders,and Team Members
• Support the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure all Company standards are adhered to.
• Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team.
• Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to,including Health and Safety,Food Audits,Stock take,EHO and Financial Audits
• Build and maintain an efficient team of employees,driving the team towards the business objectives.
• Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Wendy’s guest experience,through weekly and daily line checks.
• Working in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times
• Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and help promote a positive safety culture throughout the business.

You’re willing and able to:

• Travel to other locations (restaurants,area office,etc.) as needed.
