About Us

Osea Leisure is a family-run, award-winning 5-star holiday park set on the banks of the beautiful Blackwater Estuary near Maldon. For over 90 years we've been welcoming holidaymakers, holiday home owners, glampers and day visitors and our food and drink venues are right at the heart of the experience.

Our bar team works across The Deckhouse, our licensed bar and restaurant, serving everything from family lunches and Sunday drinks to parties, functions and our busy calendar of seasonal events and live entertainment. We're growing the team and looking for friendly, reliable people who love great service.

The Role

As a Bartender or Bar Server at Osea Leisure, you'll be a familiar, welcoming face for our guests, owners and locals alike.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard; draught beers and ales, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks
  • Provide warm, efficient bar and table service in The Deckhouse and at events and functions across the park
  • Support live entertainment nights, party bookings and seasonal weekend events
  • Keep the bar clean, well-stocked and compliant with licensing, health and safety and food hygiene standards
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately using our till system
  • Help with stock rotation, deliveries, glass collection and end-of-night close-down
  • Work as part of a close team alongside our kitchen, café and front-of-house colleagues

About You

  • Previous bar, restaurant or holiday park experience is a plus but a great attitude matters most, and full training is provided
  • Friendly, well-presented and confident chatting with guests of all ages; we're a family-friendly park
  • Calm and organised during busy weekends, holidays and event days
  • Reliable, punctual and happy to muck in wherever needed
  • Flexible with hours: evenings, weekends and school holidays are our busiest times
  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Aged 18 or over (required for the sale of alcohol)
  • A personal licence, food hygiene certificate or cocktail-making experience would be a bonus
