Job Title: Change Lead

Location: Northampton/London

Contract Type: 6 months


Role Overview

In April 2025, Barclays announced a long-term partnership with Brookfield Asset Management to grow and transform our payments acceptance business. Barclays and Brookfield are working to create a standalone entity, activated by Brookfield’s expertise in corporate carve-outs. While we continue to use the Barclaycard Payments (BPL) brand as a services provider, please note that this role is for the new standalone entity.

As AVP – Change Lead (GAIA Operations), you will execute, operationalize, and embed operational changes for a major greenfield divestment project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute & Embed Change: Turn high-level strategy into actionable plans and manage end-to-end change delivery.

  • Operational Readiness: Assess customer impacts and partner with readiness teams to ensure smooth divestment transitions.

  • Process Optimization: Apply Lean / Six Sigma to analyze and streamline customer-facing processes.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Manage cross-functional stakeholders across a complex matrix organization.

  • Digital Implementation: Support the rollout of CRM, Salesforce, and AI-driven digital service models.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Change & BA Expertise: Strong background in change management and senior business analysis in matrix environments.

  • Operational Readiness & CX: Hands-on experience evaluating customer journeys and leading business readiness.

  • Process Improvement: Lean / Six Sigma skills (ideally Green Belt) focused on customer experience.

  • Adaptability: Ability to deliver in fast-paced, ambiguous greenfield setups.

  • Digital Systems: Familiarity with CRMs, Salesforce, and AI customer interaction models .

  • Payments (Bonus): Knowledge of payments and payment gateways is a plus.
