  • Store Manager – Oodles Wok | Evington

Oodles Wok is a fast-growing Indo-Chinese street food brand, known for bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow across the UK and internationally, we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and driven Store Manager to lead our Evington team and deliver operational excellence.

Role Overview

As Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the Evington store. You will ensure consistently high standards across food quality, customer service, team performance, health and safety, and overall operations.

You will lead from the front, setting the standard for your team while creating a positive, motivated, and high-performing working environment. You will play a key role in driving sales, controlling costs, developing your team, and supporting the continued growth of the Oodles Wok brand.

You will work closely with Oodles Wok Head Office and report directly to the CEO and Founder, giving you the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and have a genuine impact on the development of the business.

As part of our expansion, you may also have the opportunity to travel to our UK and international locations to support the training and opening of new stores. This will provide valuable experience across operations, team development, training, and new-site launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the daily operations and performance of the Evington store.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure the store operates efficiently throughout each shift.
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate the team to consistently deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation, presentation, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, wastage, and inventory control to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage sales, labour costs, and other key performance indicators to achieve business targets.
  • Prepare staff rotas and manage attendance, punctuality, performance, and day-to-day staffing requirements.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure all company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety requirements are consistently followed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and store performance.
  • Work closely with Head Office to implement company initiatives, promotions, and operational improvements.
  • Support the training and opening of new Oodles Wok stores in the UK and internationally when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, restaurants, or fast food.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and operational standards.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or above is preferred.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales, costs, and profitability.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
