Full job description

A proactive and engaging Weekend Housekeeper is required for a family with a 2.5-year-old, with a new baby due in July.

Highlights:

  • Start: July 2026
  • Location: Chelsea, London
  • Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm (possible babysitting every other Saturday evening)
  • Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 gross per annum. Self-employed contract

Overview

The role is predominantly housekeeping, with very occasional light childcare. The newborn expected in July will have a maternity nurse, and a weekday Housekeeper is already employed.

There is live in accommodation available if needed.

You will keep the home running smoothly over the weekend, particularly maintaining the kitchen and living areas.

Dog walking and running small local errands such as picking up items from nearby shops as and when needed.

Duties included but not limited to:​​​​​​​

  • Hoovering, dusting, mopping and polishing throughout the house
  • Managing family laundry, bed linens
  • Tidying bedrooms, ensuring the living areas are neat and tidy
  • General household organisation
  • Light errands
  • Occasional dog walking

Benefits:

  • Live-in accommodation is available if needed (studio above property), but this is not a requirement

Key Criteria:

  • Dog friendly
  • Happy to focus primarily on housekeeping
  • French speaker preferred
