Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Job Type: Agency / Temporary
Pay: Competitive hourly rates (enhanced rates for nights, weekends, and bank holidays)

Join Our Team as an Agency Neonatal Nurse

We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Neonatal Nurses to join our agency team for ongoing shifts in Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist neonatal setting while enjoying the flexibility of agency work and excellent rates of pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to premature, sick, and newborn infants within the Neonatal Unit.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care for neonatal patients.
  • Monitor and manage infants requiring specialist care, including those receiving respiratory support where appropriate.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical guidelines.
  • Support and educate parents and families throughout their baby's care journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and NMC standards.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Children's nurse on the NMC
  • QIS Training preferred
  • Competent in caring for premature and critically ill newborns.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
