Ramside Estates are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Painter and Decorator to come and join our team.

Ramside Estates portfolio includes several different leisure and hospitality businesses, including; Ramside Hall, Hardwick Hall, Bowburn Hall and The Impeccable Pig hotels, Ramside Event Catering, The Fed, plus popular bars and restaurants in Newcastle and Durham.

We have our own maintenance team, with skills across the various trades so we can respond to our guest needs quickly and make any necessary repairs.

As a Painter & Decorator with Ramside Estates you will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating duties, maintaining tools, retouching and ensuring all completed work complies with Company standards. The ideal candidate will also be expected to;

• Paint and decorate in the hotel;
• Ensure wallpapering is finished properly;
• Ensure all duties comply with Ramside Estates workmanship and Health and Safety standards;
• Examine finished jobs and retouch if/when required;
• Maintain tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags;
• Carry out daily maintenance and repairs;

The ideal candidate will have experience of painting and decorating ideally within a hotel or commercial environment. You will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the role, a positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work on your own and under pressure. If you have a great eye for detail and are able to complete tasks to a professional high standard we would love to hear from you.
