Full job description

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for leading all restaurant operations, driving financial performance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees team development, cost control, sales growth, and brand compliance in a high-energy, full-service restaurant environment. This role incorporates a mixture of shift work pattern duties both during the daytime, evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, staffing, and scheduling
  • Drive sales, profitability, and P&L performance
  • Lead, train, and develop management and hourly team members
  • Ensure food quality, service excellence, and brand standards
  • Control labor and inventory costs
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
  • Build strong guest and community relationships

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience (full-service preferred)
  • Proven success managing high-volume operations
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience with P&L management and cost controls
  • Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
