Early Years Practitioner

A private day nursery in Stoke Newington are currently recruiting for a level 2 or level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner.

The successful candidate will need to hold EYE, NVQ or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months Early Years setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage and key worker practices.

Position Details

Your role:

  • Working as part of a team promoting an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop
  • Planning and delivering activities to extend and support children’s development and learning outcomes
  • Carrying out observations, evaluating and recording children’s progress
  • Planning and implementing next steps to support children’s development

What you will need:

  • An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Nursery Practitioners / Early Years qualification
  • An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures
  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
