Job Title: Machine operators

Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full-Time

Salary: £13.29 - 15.50 depending on experience
Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00 4 out of 6 days per work

Overview:

We are seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our food manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment, ensuring food products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor food production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Pack and prepare food products in line with production requirements.
  • Work to daily production targets while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Carry out routine equipment checks and perform basic mechanical adjustments or maintenance when required.
  • Accurately complete production records, including output levels and any faults or issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
  • Work closely with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment is desirable.
  • Basic numeracy skills for measuring, weighing, and recording production data.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations is an advantage.
  • Mechanical awareness to assist with troubleshooting machinery issues.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
