Early Morning Newspaper Delivery Driver - Storrington (7 Days)

Pipers News have been delivering newspapers since 1947. We currently deliver daily newspapers and magazines to over 11,000 residential and business customers throughout Sussex every morning from our two depots in Eastbourne and Crawley.

Due to expansion, we are looking for an early morning home newspaper delivery contractor to make deliveries to residential and commercial properties in and around the Storrington area. Setting off from Worthing to Storrington via Washington, Sullington, Heath Common and West Chiltington Common.

This role would involve collecting the round from our designated collection point at the specified time each morning, carrying out the deliveries in a timely manner using a smartphone based app.

Area – Storrington (collection from Worthing)

Average Number of deliveries per day-

• Mon-Fri: 105
• Sat: 120
• Sun: 80

Approximate hours per day:

• Mon- Fri : 3.5
• Sat : 4
• Sun : 2.75

Collection Point – Worthing, just by A27

Start Time – 03:45-04.00am

Approximate Mileage – 35 per day

Days paid on drop rate basis:

Based on current number drops, approximate pay as follows -

7 Days - £395.00PW (Own vehicle allowance included)

Weekly pay straight into your bank account every Friday. One week in arrears.

This delivery contract is offered on a self-employed sub-contractor basis.

A suitable car/van & smart phone with mobile data is required for this role.
