Bank Catering Support Worker – Best Lives

We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Bank Catering Support Worker to join the Best Lives team.

As a Bank Catering Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation and delivery of meals, while also encouraging the people we support to get involved in food-related activities where appropriate. This could include assisting with meal preparation, promoting healthy eating, and creating a positive, inclusive dining experience that supports independence and life skills.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Support individuals in a person-centred way, including during mealtimes and food preparation
• Assist with the preparation, serving and presentation of meals in line with dietary needs and preferences
• Promote independence by encouraging individuals to take part in cooking and kitchen-based activities
• Have experience or qualifications in areas such as bakery production, cooking to order, or customer/front of house service
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with individuals, colleagues, families and external professionals
• Be caring, patient and committed to making a positive difference
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential
